Starting April 10th, WBC will be hosting a luncheon webinar series every week, entitled “Building Your Resilient Business: Advice, Tools and Strategies.” WBC will also be compiling resources for small businesses that provide financial relief and guidance for your business. Our goal is to keep our members informed, connected and empowered as we stabilize during this new “normal”.

There are programs and opportunities for small businesses to gain access to capital and financial stability. The resources included below will serve as resources for you.
Loans & Grants
- Paycheck Protection Program The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities.
- NYC Small Business Continuity Fund This program is available to New York City businesses with fewer than 100 employees that can demonstrate at least a 25% decrease in revenue as a result of COVID-19. Eligible businesses can apply for an interest-free loan up to $75,000.
- U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program This advance (up to $10,000) will provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue. Funds will be made available within three days of a successful application. This loan advance will not have to be repaid.
- LISC/Verizon Small Business Recovery Fund With Verizon's $2.5 million investment, Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is offering grants to help small businesses fill urgent financial gaps until they can resume normal operations or until other more permanent financing becomes available.
- Hispanic Federation Northern Manhattan Emergency Recovery Fund New York-Presbyterian Hospital has made a major new commitment of $10 million over the next two years to help our communities recover from the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The first $2 million is designated for immediate emergency assistance.
- Renaissance Economic Development Corporation Emergency Small Business Relief Loan Fund Renaissance has created an Emergency Small Business Relief Loan Fund to help businesses struggling to survive during the COVID-19 crisis. Businesses with 50 employees or less and with at least 25% decrease in sales due to COVID-19 are eligible.
