WBC’s Public Policy Committee champions diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity by reviewing policies affecting MWBEs and women and minorities in the workforce. Members engage in annual events, shape key initiatives, and collaborate with legislative, government, and industry leaders to drive impactful change.

INSURANCE & Surety

The Insurance & Surety Committee tackles rising insurance costs, surety best practices, and develops educational resources for the building industry. It examines critical issues such as Labor Law 240/241 Reform, emerging trends, contract compliance and negotiation strategies, providing clarity and strategic guidance on key risk management challenges affecting the sector.
