We work to impact public policy at the City, State and Federal levels to increase procurement and professional opportunities for women.

New York City’s Department of Small Business Services has designated WBC as one of it leadership associations to assist companies to become certified to do business with New York City.

WBC urges City Council to pass the Willets Point re-development plan

WBC recently asked City Council to approve the proposal to re-develop Willets Point. WBC President Sandra Wilkin says the plan will provide a major economic shot in the arm for New York City providing for nearly 6,000 construction jobs in addition to creating hundreds of permanent jobs in its retail sector, the new hotel and convention space and on-site services.
